The New York Times hailed Réi's debut feature, Death Name (FOX Entertainment Studios / Tubi), an "elegant, frightening and heartbreaking exploration of the lasting legacies of the Korean War." A Forbes 30 Under 30 filmmaker, Réi is currently adapting his Oscar-longlisted short Shutter Bird into a feature with support from The Gotham Institute. His Christmas action stoner comedy Too High to Die was recently featured by The Black List and he is developing the comedy series Honours Floor with Scooter Braun and HYBE America. Previously, he served as Supervising Producer for Amazon’s Ritual.
When not on set, Réi serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Southern California.
